Commissioner Debbie Goettel provided opening remarks before turning the  
floor over to County Administrator David Hough, who introduced Chela  
Guzman-Wiegart, Assistant County Administrator, Law Safety and Justice.  
The 2024 proposed budget was presented by the following individuals:

Dawanna Witt, Hennepin County Sheriff, Sheriff’s Office  
Michael Berger, Chief Public Defender, Public Defender’s Office
