BE IT RESOLVED, that Agreement PR00005215 with the City of Maple Grove to provide landscaping services for the Maple Grove Library for the period April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2026 in an amount not to exceed $58,727 be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the County; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
The Hennepin County Maple Grove Library is surrounded by the City of Maple Gove campus. Working collaboratively with the City of Maple Grove allows the county and city to have an integrated landscape maintenance plan with the city while realizing labor and cost efficiencies.
Agreement PR00005215 with the City of Maple Grove Parks and Recreation department will provide landscaping services including seasonal clean-up and landscape maintenance at the Maple Grove Library.
County Board approval is required because the total of other county contracts with the City of Maple Grove exceed $100,000 during the last year.
