BE IT RESOLVED, that effective December 29, 2024, revisions to the compensation plan for non-organized employees be approved including a 2025 general salary adjustment of 4.0% to individual employee pay rates; and effective December 28, 2025, a 2026 general salary adjustment of 4.0% to individual employee pay rates; and effective December 27, 2026, a 2027 general salary adjustment of 4.0% to individual employee pay rates; and


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that merit progression, special pay adjustments and supplemental pay be provided to non-organized employees consistent with the terms of approved labor agreements and that rates for non-organized job classes with parallel job classes included in approved labor agreements be adjusted by an amount equal to the amount negotiated with the union using the same effective dates; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Retention payments shall increase by five percent (5%) for each of the applicable service year levels; and


BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator be directed to implement this Resolution, including any necessary revisions to Human Resources Rules, policies and practices needed to support this directive.

Background:

This Resolution requests pay adjustments and effective dates to non-organized employees consistent with the terms of the labor agreements negotiated with AFSCME Council 5 for Local 34 Social Services, Local 552 Probation and Parole, Local 1719 Adult Corrections, Local 2864 Professional, Local 2938 Legal, Local 2938 Essential for 2025 - 2027 as well as all other approved labor agreements that include parallel non-organized job classes during that period.
