BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin Healthcare Systems, Inc. (HHS) Board authorizes its Chair to execute a new employment contract for Thomas Klemond, Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Background:
Dr. Thomas Klemond entered an employment contract with HHS to act as the Interim CEO for on April 18, 2025. In response to financial challenges of HHS, Dr. Klemond has requested a 10% salary reduction and an updated employment contract to reflect this change.
Current Request: Authorize the HHS Board Chair to execute the new employment contract for Thomas Klemond, Interim HHS CEO, on file with the Hennepin County Clerk.
