BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator be authorized to negotiate Agreement PW 20-44-26 with Three Rivers Park District and the City of Minnetonka for cost participation, maintenance, and ownership responsibilities related to the construction of a new regional trail along County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 60 (Baker Road) from Rowland Road to CSAH 5 (Minnetonka Boulevard), (Capital Project (CP) 2201134, a subproject of 2201100: Cost Participation and Partnerships 2024 - 2028), at a county cost not to exceed $500,000; that upon review and approval by the County Attorney’s Office, the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the county; and the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
Three Rivers Park District, in collaboration with the county and City of Minnetonka, is leading a project to construct a segment of the Bryant Lake Regional Trail along CSAH 60 (Baker Road) from Rowland Road to CSAH 5 (Minnetonka Boulevard) in the year 2027.
Funding for the county’s cost participation is available in CP 2201100: Cost Participation and Partnerships 2024-2028, with expenses tracked in its associated subproject 2201134.
