BE IT RESOLVED, that Amendment 2 to Agreement No. PR00002020 with AVI Systems Inc., for maintenance and support of Hennepin County District Court audio and video systems, increasing the not to exceed amount by $125,000 for a new total not to exceed amount of $779,000, be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the amendment on behalf of the County; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
Hennepin County is responsible for the maintenance and construction of Hennepin County District Court audio systems per Agreement A03185 between Hennepin County and the State of Minnesota.
Following a request for proposals, Resolution 20-0069R1, approved by the board on February 26, 2020, approved the current agreement with AVI Systems Inc.
Resolution 21-0121 approved Amendment 1 which increased the not to exceed amount by $514,000 to $654,000 and extended the termination date to March 31, 2024.
This amendment increases the not to exceed amount by $125,000 to $779,000.
Any contract costs related to the video systems will be the responsibility of Hennepin County District Court.
Current Request: The current request is to amend Agreement PR00002020 to increase the not to exceed amount by $125,000 with a new not to exceed amount of $779,000.
Impact/outcomes: The agreement will provide the courts with reliable maintained audio and video systems.
