BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioner authorizes a supplement appropriation of up to $8,000,000 to the Hennepin Healthcare Systems, Inc 2024 operating budget; that the Controller be authorized to make the adjustment.

Background:

Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc. (HHS) is a public subsidiary corporation of the County. County administration is proposing this additional funding to HHS in recognition of their current fiscal challenges and recent conversations with their organization around their 2024 budget.
