BE IT RESOLVED, that the Executive Director be authorized to negotiate Agreement PR00007915 with Messerli & Kramer for the provision of state lobbying services during the period January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with the amount not to exceed $44,000; that following review and approval by the County Attorney’s Office, the Chair be authorized to sign the contract on behalf of the authority; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
Messerli & Kramer is currently under contract with the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority to lobby for regional transportation and transit projects in Hennepin County at the Minnesota Legislature. In 2026, Messerli & Kramer will continue in this role.
