BE IT RESOLVED, that collectively bargained agreement A2311756 between Hennepin County and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies Association (HCSDA), setting terms and conditions of employment for the employees represented by HCSDA during the period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024, be approved; and that Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the county; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contingency transfer of $1,711,949 to the 2023 Sheriff’s Office budget be approved, and that the Controller is authorized to transfer and disburse these funds.

Background:
After negotiations with HCSDA reached impasse, a neutral interest arbitrator was selected by the parties. The resulting award produced an agreement establishing terms and conditions of employment for members of the HCSDA. The agreement covers approximately 240 employees for the period of January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024. Key provisions of this agreement include modifications to wages, progression increases, market adjustments, medical insurance, and key benefits. Details can be found in the attached document.
