BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners hereby establishes the 2027 dental care plan and premiums.

Background:
Hennepin offers a voluntary dental plan to employees and dependents as part of our Total Rewards strategy. Premiums are actuarially determined by using historical and current claims information, population risk factors and expected dental care cost inflation. In 2027, premiums will increase by 4.5%. Retirees do not receive a county contribution.
Dental benefit plan enrollment:
2026: an average of 7,769 subscribers.
