BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Hennepin County Commissioners-HHS Governing Body approves the application for medical staff privileges contained in the Credentials Committee December Monthly report which was flagged for additional review.

Background:
The Medical Staff of Hennepin Healthcare operates under the Bylaws of the Medical Staff, last approved on February 28, 2024, which establish the framework for obtaining and renewing Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges. As part of this process, the Office of the Medical Staff and Credentialing Office review each application to verify qualifications, identify any issues, and classify the file as "clean" or "flagged/with exceptions" for additional review.
Files are flagged if they contain notable items such as licensure actions, clinical privilege restrictions, sanctions, malpractice claims, professional conduct concerns, or other discrepancies. Flagged files undergo additional scrutiny by the Department Chair and the Medical Staff Credentials Committee. At the Medical Staff Credentials Committee level, two committee members review each new appointment and one reviews each reappointment; findings are reported to the full committee, which includes the President of the Medical Staff
and Hennepin County legal counsel specializing in malpractice litigation. The committee determines whether the applicant should be recommended to the Medical Executive Committee and the HHS Board.
For this meeting, the Medical Staff Credentials Committee has completed its review of the December 2025 Monthly Report, including one application flagged/with exceptions for additional review.
