BE IT RESOLVED, that collectively bargained agreement A2311799 between Hennepin County and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local #393, setting terms and conditions of employment for the employees represented by LELS during the period January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024, be approved; and that Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the county; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners authorize a transfer of $1,623,218 in Contingency Funds to the 2023 Sheriff’s Office budget; that the 2023 Contingency budget be decreased by $1,623,218 and the Sheriff’s Office 2023 budget be increased by $1,623,218; and that the controller is authorized to transfer and disburse these funds as directed.

The parties have voluntarily agreed to terms and conditions of employment for members of LELS. The agreement covers approximately 72 supervisory employees for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024.
