BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners approves Amendment 3 to Agreement PR00004679 with OptumRx, which expands access to specialty network pharmacies and updates the guaranteed rebate for specialty drugs accordingly; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Amendment on behalf of the county and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.
Background:
Hennepin County contracts with OptumRx as its Pharmacy Benefits Manager. OptumRx provides an agreed upon network of pharmacy options. The plan must be amended to expand access to specialty pharmacy options to comply with Minnesota law.
