BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc. (HHS) Governing Board delegates authority to the President of the Medical Staff to grant temporary medical staff privileges under defined circumstances consistent with Medical Staff Bylaws and applicable regulatory requirements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the HHS Governing Board authorizes the HHS Medical Executive Committee (MEC), chaired by the President of the Medical Staff, to exercise this delegated authority as part of its regular monthly credentialing review processes for initial appointments and reappointments, consistent with HHS Medical Staff Bylaws; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a full report of all temporary privileges, clinical privilege modification requests, and clinical privilege form modifications granted under this delegated authority will be provided to the HHS Governing Board on an annual basis.
