BE IT RESOLVED, that the award of Contract FC00000087 to Restoration & Construction Services LLC for the South Minneapolis Human Services Parking Ramp Refurbishment project, in the amount of $1,199,000 be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the contract on behalf of the county after the performance and payment bonds have been properly executed; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
The South Minneapolis Human Services building is located at 2215 E. Lake Street in Minneapolis. The 150,000 square foot parking ramp has a surface level and two underground levels. It serves the clients and staff of the building and residents of the adjacent apartment buildings.
The project scope includes traffic coating replacement, floor drain installation, below-grade waterproofing installation, routing of cracks, sealant installation, and flashing repairs and installation.
Through a best value procurement process, a Request for Proposals was released on April 4, 2023. Four proposal was received. Based on the results of interviews with the proposers’ key staff, Restoration & Construction Services LLC, received the highest score, based on its cost, written submittals, and interview.
Current Request: This is a request to approve Contract FC00000087 with Restoration & Construction Services LLC for the South Minneapolis Human Services Parking Ramp Refurbishment project, in the amount of $1,199,000.
Impact/Outcomes: This project will improve / upgrade a valuable county asset for public use.
