BE IT RESOLVED, that a contract be awarded to Valley Paving, Inc. in the amount of $4,985,985 for pavement rehabilitation along County State Aid Highway 92 in the cities of Greenfield and Independence, project 2210408, a subproject of capital project 2210400; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the contract on behalf of the county; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse the funds as directed.

Background:
The county, in collaboration with the cities of Greenfield and Independence, is leading a pavement rehabilitation project along County State Aid Highway 92 between CSAH 6 (Watertown Road) and CSAH 50 (Rebecca Park Trail). On May 20, 2025, five bids were received with the lowest responsive bid submitted by Valley Paving, Inc. Project funding is available in CP 2210400 - Pavement Rehabilitation Program 2022-2026, with expenses tracked in subproject 2210408.
