BE IT RESOLVED, that approximately 35,551 square feet of drainage easement located adjacent to County Road 116 (Pinto Drive) and north of Hackamore Road in the city of Corcoran be vacated and released; and that said easement is legally described in Attachment A.

Background:
Lakeview Development Company, LLC, the property owner, and Woodland Hills of Corcoran, Inc., the property developer, are requesting the vacation and release of a drainage easement north of Hackamore Road, terminating at Pinto Drive, for a residential development consisting of approximately 60 detached single-family homes.
Based on county staff review, this drainage easement is no longer needed. After the property is developed, the county will have access to the proposed new plat dedicated drainage and utility easement.
Current Request: This request is for authorization to vacate and release the drainage easement located adjacent to Pinto Drive and north of Hackamore Road as legally described in Attachment A for the residential development as requested by the property owner and developer.
Impacts/Outcomes: Approval of this request will release interests no longer needed by Hennepin County and facilitate residential development on the property.
