Background:

As part of the Fleet Services initiative to transition county fleet vehicles from gas to electric, this proposed project will provide 23 fleet charging stations to power electric vehicles at the Medina Public Works Facility.

The project will include two dual port level three chargers, twenty-one dual port level two chargers, and one single port level two charger and all associated electrical infrastructure. In addition, a 500 square foot electrical building will be constructed to create a central location for charger switch gear and necessary equipment.

Seven (7) bids were received in response to a low bid request for bids. Donlar Construction Company provided the lowest responsible bid and award of a contract in the amount of $1,368,000 is recommended.
