BE IT RESOLVED, that Amd 1 to Agreement A2211489 with the Minnesota Department of Human Services for services related to the Adult Mental Health Initiative grant, reallocating existing funding for the period January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2024, in the receivable amount of $20,265,706, with no change to the agreement date or amount be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the county; and that the Controller be authorized to accept and disburse funds as directed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sponsorship and acceptance of grant funding for this program by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners does not imply a continued funding commitment by Hennepin County for this program when grant funds are no longer available.

Background:
Board approval is requested for Amd 1 to Agreement A2211489 with the MN Department of Human Services, which will reallocate existing funding to support AMHI funded services which assist residents with access to safety-net supports such as treatment, health and wellness activities, employment services, and housing that help with recovery and stability in the community. The 2023-2024 AMHI grant award includes funding in three categories:
1) $11,618,534 for Adult Mental Health Initiative (AMHI) programs, which includes a broad range of safety net services including case management, crisis, residential, and non-residential services;
2) $7,267,172 for Community Support Programs (CSPs). CSPs are welcoming, inclusive, and supportive centers providing on site services for people seeking supports in their mental health care; and
