BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator be authorized to negotiate Amendment 1 to Agreement PW 25-20-21 with the City of Minneapolis for the reconstruction of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 40 (Glenwood Avenue) from Aldrich Avenue to 10th Street, county project (CP) 2999968, decreasing the estimated receivable by $214,500 to $2,591,144; that upon review and approval by the County Attorney's Office, the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the amendment on behalf of the county, and the Controller be authorized to receive the funds as directed.

Background:
Hennepin County, in coordination with the City of Minneapolis and Metropolitan Council, led a project to reconstruct Glenwood Avenue from Aldrich Avenue to 10th Street. The project enhanced connections to the Southwest Green Line Light Rail Transit Royalston station. Improvements included upgrades to accessibility, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, streetscape and landscape, signals, and drainage.
The county previously entered into Agreement PW 25-20-21 with the City of Minneapolis for the project (county board resolutions 22-0298 and 23-0212). The proposed amendment will reduce the city's share by $214,500 in recognition of previous city storm sewer investments in the project area.
Project funding was established in CP 2999968 - Southwest LRT Partnership Participation, with expenses tracked in subproject 2154001.
