BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator be authorized to execute Amendment 5 to the work authorization under Principal Agreement PR00002261 with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for additional construction administration services on roadway rehabilitation projects at various locations, county project (CP) 2210400; increasing the not to exceed amount by $16,000 for a new total amount of $781,000; that following review and approval by the County Attorney's office, the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the amendment to the work authorization on behalf of the county; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse funds as directed.

Background:
The county, in coordination with the cities of Minneapolis and St. Anthony, is leading a pavement preservation and accessibility improvement project along the following county roadways:

* County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 88 (New Brighton Boulevard) between the Interstate (I)-35W northbound ramps and CSAH 94 (29th Avenue)
* CSAH 27 (Stinson Boulevard) between CSAH 52 (Hennepin Avenue) and I-35W
* CSAH 46 (46th Street) between Godfrey Road and the Mississippi River

In 2021, SRF Consulting Group, Inc. began providing design engineering services for this project through the county's consultant services program under Principal Agreement PR00002261, at a not to exceed amount of $192,688. The work authorization has since been amended for additional scope and budget, including construction administration services, increasing the total not to exceed to $765,000 (Resolution 23-0140). Staff recommend amending the work authorization for additional construction administration services needed to complete the project.
