BE IT RESOLVED, that collectively bargained agreement A2512938 between Hennepin County and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies Association setting terms and conditions of employment for the period of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027, be approved; and that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Agreements on behalf of the County.

Background:
Negotiations and interest arbitration have been completed with Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies Association, resulting in a written agreement covering terms and conditions of employment. The Association is finalizing their ratification based on these terms and conditions and this agreement will take effect pending a vote to ratify. The agreement covers approximately 260 supervisors for the period of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027. Key provisions include modifications to wages, progression increases, medical insurance, retention payments, pay differentials, work schedule premiums, and key benefits.
