BE IT RESOLVED, that collectively bargained agreements between Hennepin County and AFSCME Local 34 - Social Services Unit; AFSCME Local 552 - Probation/Parole Unit; AFSCME Local 1719 - Adult Corrections Officers; AFSCME Local 2864 - Professional Unit; AFSCME Local 2938 - Legal Unit; AFSCME Local 2938 - Essential Unit; AFSCME Local 2822 - Clerical Unit; Professional Social Work Supervisory Employees; Teamsters Local 320 - Correctional Unit; Teamsters Local 320 - General Service Unit; MNPEA - Hennepin Telecommunicators; MNPEA - Hennepin Detention Deputies; Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputies Association; LELS - Licensed Supervisors; Hennepin County Supervisors Association; IUOE Local 49 - Public Works Unit be amended; and that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Agreements on behalf of the County.

Background:
Negotiations have been completed with sixteen bargaining units, resulting in a written agreement covering terms and conditions specific to the health insurance premium paid by the employees and the County. This amendment to the current collective bargaining agreements covers approximately 6,600 employees for the period of January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.
