BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hennepin County Board reappoints Neil T. Doyle to the unclassified position of Hennepin County Veteran Services Officer for a four-year term commencing June 25, 2025 through June 24, 2029.

Background:
The current term of Veteran Services Officer, Neil Doyle, will expire on June 24, 2025. Minnesota Statute 2009, Chapter 197.60 requires that the county board appoint a Veteran Services Officer.
Mr. Doyle was initially appointed as the Hennepin County Veteran Services Officer on June 25, 2017. Pursuant to state law, the Veteran Services Officer term is four years.
Mr. Doyle has over 20 years of Veteran Services experience and over 15 years of progressive leadership in an Infantry Company in the Army National Guard. Mr. Doyle has extensive background in Veteran’s benefits and claims. He is a well-respected leader with proven ability for building strong teams and utilizing data to inform decisions and promote the mission of veteran’s services.
The County Administrator is recommending that Mr. Doyle be reappointed to a four-year term as the County Veteran Services Officer commencing June 25, 2025 through June 24, 2029.
