BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator is authorized to develop a roster program for the procurement of training, safety assessment and protection services in an overall amount not to exceed $250,000 per contract per year; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Administrator is authorized to approve and sign the above-referenced agreements and amendments to such agreements up to $250,000 per annum per contract.

Background:
The county takes threats of violence to employees and county property seriously. To responsibly protect county staff and infrastructure there may be situations when additional services related to training, safety assessment and protection are needed.
Current Request: This request seeks authorization for the County Administrator to develop a roster program to procure a list of qualified firms and a delegation to the County Administrator to approve and sign such contracts and amendments.
