BE IT RESOLVED, that Amendment 1 to Agreement PR00004056 with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC, Hennepin Health’s vendor of evidence-based clinical criteria, extending the end date to June 6, 2026; increasing the not to exceed amount by $1,409,500 for a new total not to exceed amount of $1,688,182, amending the agreement to incorporate legal terms required for additional services be approved; that the Chair of the Board be authorized to sign the Amendment on behalf of the County; and that the Controller be authorized to dispense funds as directed.

Background:
Agreement PR00004056 with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC, Hennepin Health’s vendor of evidence-based clinical criteria, expires January 31, 2025. Agreement A177138 with Change Healthcare Solutions, LLC, for electronic data interchange (EDI) and agreement A188735 with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC, for payer connectivity services (PCS) expires June 6, 2023. The parties desire to consolidate these vendor services into one agreement and ensure consistent and continued EDI and PCS services when the current agreements expire on June 6, 2023.
Current Request: Approval of Amendment 1 to Agreement PR00004056 will:
• Extend end date through June 6, 2026
• Combine existing payer connectivity services (current agreement 188735) and electronic data interchange services (current agreement A177138) into one agreement number PR00004056
• Add medical and pharmacy coordination of benefits (COB) services
• Add change control process language
• Incorporate legal terms required for the additional services
The agreement with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC increases the NTE by $1,409,500. The new NTE is $1,688,182 ($482,000 for EDI services; $800,000 for PCS services; $278,682 for InterQual services; and $127,500 for COB services).
