BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Administrator be authorized to execute Amendment 1 to Work Order Contract PR00006767 with SRF Consulting Group to provide final design, engineering, and professional services for the reconstruction of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 15 (Gleason Lake Road) from Trunk Highway (TH) 12 to Vicksburg Lane in the cities of Minnetonka, Plymouth, and Wayzata (CP 2194500), extending the period to December 31, 2029 and increasing the contract by $600,000 for a revised not to exceed (NTE) total amount of $1,243,101; and that upon review and approval by the County Attorney’s Office, the Chair of the County Board be authorized to sign the work order contract amendment on behalf of the county; and that the Controller be authorized to disburse the funds as directed.

Background:
The segment of Gleason Lake Road is nearing the end of its service life and needs to be reconstructed. The county, in partnership with the cities, is leading the project, which includes:
• New pavement, trail, curb and gutter, and stormwater facilities
• Accessibility, safety, bikeway, and intersection improvements
In 2025, the county entered into Work Order Contract PR00006767 with SRF Consulting Group to provide preliminary design, engineering, and professional services for the CSAH 15 (Gleason Lake Road) project (Resolution 25-0022R1). Amendment 1 to Work Order Contract PR00006767 is needed for final design, engineering, and professional services.
Current Request: This request seeks authorization to execute Amendment 1 to work order Contract PR00006767 with SRF Consulting Group for final design, engineering, and professional services; extending the period to December 31, 2029, and increasing the contract amount by $600,000 for a revised NTE of $1,243,101.
Impacts/Outcomes: This project supports the county’s Toward Zero Death Action Plan, Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan, climate action, and disparity elimination efforts by improving accessibility, mobility, and safety for multimodal transportation users along CSAH 15 (Gleason Lake Road).
